MAR+Invest convened entrepreneurs of its pipeline located in Quintana Roo in an in-person breakfast event in Cancun on February 20th, 2026. The gathering created space for what truly sustains impact: trust, collaboration, and shared purpose.
The event brought together entrepreneurs from the second and third cohorts of the Acceleration Program. Seven ventures attended and their presence reflected both commitment and the value of connection.
The two-hour session was intentionally designed to prioritize relationships over presentations. The first hour focused on informal networking over breakfast, fostering open and authentic conversations.. The second hour shifted to structured introductions, where each organization shared its mission, stage of growth, and the partnerships or support needed to move forward.

This convening reflects a defining feature of MAR+Invest: it goes beyond strengthening individual ventures, cultivating a trusted peer network. Through its upcoming community, MAR+Invest will promote collective learning among participants in incubation and acceleration programs across the MAR region, ensuring that entrepreneurs do not navigate complex environmental and market challenges alone. Instead, they gain access to shared experience, strategic connections, and valuable opportunities for collaboration.
In its next phase (2026–2028), MAR+Invest aims to further consolidate this platform, deepening connections among reef-positive entrepreneurs while integrating a results measurement framework aligned with the alliance’s indicators.
