The seven ventures of the second MAR+Invest Acceleration Programme cohort completed six months of personalized mentorship and strategic sessions, all designed to scale their impact and attract investment—with a shared goal: to protect and regenerate the Mesoamerican Reef (MAR). 🪸
From April 1–4, 2025, we gathered in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, to celebrate the closing event, where the entrepreneurs showcased their progress, key learnings, and pitches in front of a jury and key stakeholders from the impact ecosystem.
The closing event included onboarding activities, intensive scaling workshops, and sessions focused on the impact entrepreneurship ecosystem. It also featured a visit to the sea, preceded by a powerful conversation on biodiversity conservation in the region with María del Carmen García-Rivas, Director of the Puerto Morelos Reef National Park (CONANP). The event concluded with a closing cocktail and networking session where ventures presented their pitches.
